ANNUAL REPORT 2022-2023

At Bhavishyaa School, we strive for excellence with sincerity of purpose, independence of thought & action among our children and developing sensitivity to others’ well being and feelings.
ANNUAL REPORT

A heart filled with aspirations is all that we knew since the very existence of the school and that’s what gave us the ambition of marching forward till excellence is achieved in all our endeavors.

This report is comprised of the achievements made during the year gone by and at the sametime set the path for greater accomplishments in the years to come.

I feel happy to present the scintillating sneak peek of an enthralling journey of the year 2022-23.

     At Bhavishyaa we set standards and goals for ourselves and strive to achieve them be it in the area of Academics, sports, discipline, leadership, and many more.

SCHOOL ASSEMBLY:
School Assembly helps in building a culture of communication and representation of academic and co-curricular activities. School Assembly provides ample opportunities for all our students to come forth with self courage and express their abilities of public speaking, reading, thought sharing etc.

ACADEMICS:

     “Learning gives creativity, creativity leads to thinking provides knowledge and knowledge make you great”.

     The year 2022 commenced on wonderful note when the result of our 10th class CBSE Board examinations came out. We are happy to share with the commandable performances of our students, appeared in 10th board exams and 7 got more than 92 % marks with distinction in various subjects.

IIT  :

  The Introduction of  IIT Coaching this year helps the students complete all academic activities under one roof. The school has decided to offer three advantages to the students of classes VI  to X by starting an integrated coaching. These classes will deal not only with the CBSE syllabus but also with all the chapters/concepts covered in other syllabi and give an objective type.

CAPACITY BUILDING PROGRAM FOR TEACHERS:

Bhavishyaa family consists of well trained, experienced and dedicated teaching staff, administrative staff and supporting staff. Staying updated is the key to success in any field especially in the field of education. With the sole purpose of updating teachers’ knowledge, the school hosted a series of Teachers’ Workshops. It was an attempt which inclusively engulfed various significant aspects like Moral Values, Life Skills by CBSE, Meditation & Stress Management, English Language and Mathematics. Apart from this, our teachers are made a part of the training sessions and workshops happening at other schools.

Our teachers attended various workshops like workshop, workshop on NURTURING EARLY CHILDHOOD and ADOLESCENCE MANAGEMENT, workshops on various ACADEMIC SUBJECTS. Attendee teachers further share the knowledge with other fellow teachers widening the sphere.

PARENT ORIENTATION PROGRAMME:

As a regular practice followed every year, this session began with the Orientation Programme for the parents of the students of classes Preprimary to X. The programme made the parents aware of the scheme of education we impart here at our school. Query-resolving session by our academic director of Operations Mrs.Shalini  illuminated the path of positive parenting.

TEACHER ENHANCEMENT PROGRAMS  :

“It’s the teacher that makes the change, not the mere classroom”.

We believe in equipping teachers to prepare the students for the future and to update their knowledge. So the school arranges a teacher orientation program every year and in 2020 it was in virtual mode directed by CBSE and other agencies.

PRE PRIMARY (Activities)

1. GREET & MEET:

The year began with greet and meet. A perfect back to school activity. It’s a simple strategy where students find one another to match up topics, people, Characteristics, meeting one another and creating a co –operative bond in the process.

2. ETIQUETTES & LIFE SKILLS:

     The integrated efforts of teachers and parents can groom and tune the young minds to the healthy and well-mannered citizens of tomorrow. For this we planned and introduced etiquettes and life skills every month. Where children will be taught good manners and social skills and are encouraged to practice in real life too

3. SUMMER FEST:

This Year we started  with Summer fest  where the students had the exposure of seasonal fruits and vegetables and learnt the importance of consuming it.

4. FATHER – MY BUDDY:

With a great pomp show began. The session started with a PPT which displayed photos with their fathers. Several fun filled games were conducted which involved both father and child.  Parents shared their valuable memories with their fathers.

5. DOCTOR’S DAY:

Doctors Day celebration was an attempt to emphasize on the values of doctors in our lives and to express our gratitude toward them. They are the real heroes fighting at the forefront to save millions of lives around the globe during pandemic situation. Students were made familiar about the importance of health and hygiene and the role played by Doctor’s in our society.

6. WINTER CARNIVAL:
All roads led to the school for participation in the fun and frolic filled Winter Carnival. The carnival brought together the Bhavishyaa  fraternity with students, parents, staff and the
Management enjoying the event together where students enjoyed the magic winter and campfire.

7. PANCHATANTRA WEEK:

This week was fun filled as students of Pre-Primary  got narrated a story  by the teacher  where the  students imaginary  and listening skills were focused. Students had a good story time in Library and a day in theatre.

On the last day students  visited  ZOO PARK  to co-relate the characters  learnt  and  had fun at the same time.

8. COFFEE MORNING :

Coffee morning day with parents fraternity  is a time where  the explosure of children’s  learning of entire month .There was a great turn out and we were overwhelmed with the amount of parents and carersthat came.

9. FRIENDSHIP DAY:

“There is something about childhood friends that we just can’t replace!” The pre – primary and primary learners celebrated the day with their friends and exchanged friendship bands and posed to the photos.

10. RECYCLE WEEK:

Recycling takes a little effort on your part, but makes a big differences to the world. Educating the little ones of Bhavishyaa, about recycling and waste management, Recycle week was organized. To raise awareness about how recycling helps in protecting our environment. (several activities and informative sessions were conducted through out the week) emphasis was laid on taking small initiatives, like replacing poly there bags with paper bags, which will have a bigger impact in the long run.

11. ROCK STAR WEEK:

We saw amazing costumes, make up, hair and creativity during this week as our children come to school dressed as Rock star. All the little ones turned into a rock star with rocking activities. They explored music and dance and had fun.

12. MOVIE MANIA:

The students of Preprimary had their movie time. They were shown the movie The Toy Story. Children were briefed about how movie time in school is different from the movie time they have with their parents. The little ones were filled with enthusiasm, curiosity and excitement. They clapped and cheered. A day well spent with full of learning fun and entertainment.

13. KINDNESS WEEK:

We at Bhavishyaa feel that school is the perfect place to breed more kindness not only as means towards a more harmonious society but also as a means to helping everyone. By participating in the drive, the act of kindness will be ingrained into the minds and hearts of every student. They learn how to be selfless, caring, compassionate.

14. LEARNER SYNOPSIS DAY :

Leaner Synopsis was organized for the parents of Preprimary wing .It was a great opportunity to get an insight into learning process of children through the inquiry cycles.Each child got an opportunity to walk through the parents along to provide them an overview the learning journey at school.

The parent was given a questionnaire to monitor the child’s learning skills. The response of the students was wonderful. The responses of the parents made us cherish and boosted our teachers confidence. Thank you parents foryour great feedbacks. We ensure to give such updated skilled based knowledge to our students.

PRIMARY

1. CIRCLE TIME:

It is a special time to share finger plays, participate in movement games and relaxation activities. Circle time provides a time for listening, developing attention span, promoting oral communication and learning new concepts and skills.

2. GLOBE TROTTERS:

Globe trotters is an activity developed to teach students about other states and their cultures. Geography, history, language, art, food, music and most importantly, the people of that area are discussed and taught through games, art projects and other hands-on activities. The goal is to promote global understanding and cultural respect. Through
Globe trotters children are taught about other states in a fun, new way with plenty of  easy to understand  handouts, art projects and games.

3. MATHEMATICS DAY( MATH MAGICIAN FAIR):

Every year we celebrate Mathematics day to honour the birth anniversary of Mathematical genius “SrinivasaRamanujan”. This day is celebrated with the objective of creating awareness about importance of mathematics in day to day life and to create students interest in studying mathematics.

     Quiz competition, drawing geometrical designs and talk on mathematics were organized.

4. GAMES AND SPORTS :

The school remained in spot light for its unprecented and unparalleled achievements in the field of games and sports not only at district and state levels but also at national and international level.

It took five whole pages to pen down the hot potatoes given that small fries were not even recorded. A copy of same has been enclosed herewith. 3 Students got selected to National Sub Junior WushuChampionship .

     Nivedita of Grade – VIII participated in 4 National WUSHU championships. Recently participated in KHELO INDIA south zone women’s Wushu league and also selected to National KHELO INDIA Womens championship at Srinagar.

It’s our pride moment to share that G.V. Pushkal of Grade- VIII won the bronze medal  in International Kickboxing  Championship this year.

Co-curricular Range The school calendar remained studded with a rich variety of co-curricular activities in house or extramural. One who has failed to achieve distinction inside the class cannot and should not be tagged as good for nothing.

The school has never failed to find method in the madness of the young learners. The colossal potentials showcased by the students during functions and competitions have often left the tongues wagging in admiration.

5. INVESTITURE CEREMONY:

“ A leader is the one who knows the way, goes the way and shows the way”

Bhavishyaa’s motto is to create leaders of tomorrow and there is a special ceremony that turns  it into reality. For us, Investiture ceremony is not just about providing titles but about conferring responsibilities to the students, to take charge of the school and take it to the height they desire with their leadership and decision making skills, communication and team work.

6. SCHOOL HOUSES :

“Strength does not come from physical capacity, it comes from unity”

The students of the school are divided into 4 different houses- Agni, Dhanush, Shourya and Prithvi. Each house is managed by House Captains. The house on duty performs its duty of conducting the day to day activities, competitions in systematic and disciplined manner.

 A comprehensive anal of achievement in extramural activities is also attached herewith.

On 14th November 2022, Children’s day was celebrated where Teachers gave speech  and various competitions were conducted to motivate them. On our teachers’ day the students recollected the contributions of the teachers in shaping up their lives and thus creating the new society. With due respect, the school paid homage to Dr. S. Radhakrishnan, the icon of every teacher.

7.PROJECT VEERGATHA :

Which includes inter disciplinary and art-integrated activities like poem/essay/story/paragraph/painting/drawing, videos etc; to honor the acts of bravery & sacrifice of the officers/personal of the armed forces.

8. PARIKSHA PE CHARCHA  – 2023

          To reduce exam stress among students and teachers, parents an online creative writing competition has been conducted on various topics where in the winners will get an opportunity to participate in the interactive program PPC of  Honorable Prime Minister NarendraModi .

9. UNITY RUN RASHTRIYA EKTA DIVAS (National Unity Day)

          Bhavishyaa school organized unity run on 31st Oct to communicate the birth anniversary of first Home minister & ‘Iron Man’ of India, Sardarvallabai Patel. Students and staff of  Bhavishyaa enthusiastically participated in it.

10. NATIONAL LEVEL PAINTING COMPETITION ON ENERGY CONSERVATION:

To sensitize the students towards energy efficient and energy conservation in domestic sector Ministry of power and GovtOf India Undertook Pan India National Awareness Campaign by organizing painting competition. Students Participated in it with great enthusiasm and expressed their views in the form of painting

Finally, I would like to thank our Parents for their continuous support, our teaching & non –teaching staff who constantly working hard for the success of Children.

11. ACADEMIC CALENDAR ACTIVITIES:

Club activities were highlight of the year.All the activities were conducted updation of modern techniques: technology has proved to be a boon for teachers, as the explaining process forteachers has been modified. Now teachers can explain complicated topics easily via technology which was not possible earlier. It has enabled parents, educators and students a variety of knowledge at their fingertips.

BMS School, maintains Biology, Chemistry Lab, and Physics Lab with machines and tools it has a wide range of scientific models, specimens, apparatus etc. to cater the needs of the students.

School has a big computer lab with the latest software, enhancing the skills and knowledge of students. Our well competent staff makes sure that children enjoy learning because this proves to be a moreeffective way of grasping things. It enables students to explore new subjects and new things with betterand deep understanding. Through the use of technology inside and outside the classroom children will become proficient enough that they can handle future competitions with ease.

12. CLUBS:

The BhavishyaaCBSE schools in is to provide holistic education by balancing academics with extracurricular activities. The syllabus is designed to make learning less stress free for the students without compromising quality.

That’s why our school creates various programs such as school clubs that cater to various interests. Our School believe in the importance of club activities for students as it indirectly affects the Academic excellence in children.

     The Heritage Club,Eco Club, Science Club,Theatre Club , Math Magician Club-  houses prepare   themselves  better for real-world challenges. Introducing these skills early helps them be ready for situations that will come up later in life.

13. THEATRE CLUB:

 Students perform skits based on biographies of eminent personalities.Various activities such as Nukkadnatak, essay writing competitions, poster making, seminar sessions etc. were part of club activities.

14. FIELD TRIPS

As a part of the curriculum, we had our field trips for all classes. The trip to CCMB , CSIR  was very informative. Field trips were arranged to Birla Planitorium, AdventurousPark .

Our little tots of Bhavishyaa has their visits to Sanjeevanivanam, DeerPark, Zoo Park. A set of students as part of their syllabus visited the Market place, plants Nursery etc. Fun filled trips to Wild waters, Mount Opera were also planned.

Conclusion

Many milestones have been achieved and many still have to be reached. We at Sri Bhavishyaa school will continue our unceasing efforts to mould the young minds into well balanced personalities with confidence and zeal befitting the standards of this portal of education.

This report is a sincere attempt to showcase our progress in terms of achievements and activities during the year.

On this memorable occasion as we recount our success with pride and happiness, we wish to dedicate all our achievements to the committed effort of a committed team called Sri Bhavishyaa CBSEschool
